John Updike


Pulitzer Prize-winning author John Updike died Tuesday at the age of 76. Updike was one of America's most prolific and well-respected writers, publishing more than 50 novels and winning numerous literary awards. His last novel, The Widows of Eastwick, was published late last year.

John Updike's passing is sad, but he left a ton of awesome work. "Immortality is nontransferrable" he said appropriately.
