Spotlight on Nathaniel Philbrick

Prize-winning historian Nathaniel Philbrick tackles Lieutenant Colonel Custer in his latest book, The Last Stand: Custer, Sitting Bull, and the Battle of the Little Bighorn.  Philbrick is perhaps best known for his naval histories, including In the Heart of the Sea: The Tragedy of the Whaleship Essex (winner of the National Book Award for Nonfiction) and Mayflower: A Story of Courage, Community, and War.
